Study Coordinator Training Series
We are pleased to announce that the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute (OCI) and the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) are again offering a series of classes for OHSU Study Coordinators. The classes are designed to provide study coordinators with working knowledge of OHSU research policies and operations. The goal is to further the development of highly skilled study coordinators at OHSU. The classes in the series Include:
- Protocol Analysis and Implementation – April 9th 8:00 -12:00
- Essential Regulatory and Source Documents – May 19th 8:00 -12:00
- Regulatory Documents and Submissions – August 4th 8:00 -12:00
- Writing and Obtaining Informed Consent – October 19th 8:00 -12:00
Registration is open to all OHSU employees currently working as a Research Coordinator. Classes are limited to 30 students and will be offered on a rotating basis. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Continuing Nursing Education Credits will be available for the classes. Quarterly Clinical Research Coordinator Training Workshop
Clinical Research Coordinator Training Workshop - December 10th & 11th, 2009
This two-day workshop is designed to provide a basic framework of the role and responsibilities of the research coordinator, the regulatory and policy requirements for appropriate conduct of clinical research at OHSU, and tools to assist coordinators to successfully perform their role. This workshop is open to all OHSU employees.
